It's mid-July and I am just absolutely loving life this summer! In every season of my life, I have been busy busy, and this season is proving to be no exception. The difference is, this time I actually feel like I am fulfilling the Lord's call in my life in a new way.
I have been blessed to spend more time serving at my sweet church, more time in my Bible study, both personal and group studies, and...wait for it...I have actually been EXERCISING!!! What what?? Not to mention the quality time I have had flitting about with my hilarious kiddos. We have had so many crazy adventures this summer!
Work is going really well too...but who wants to talk about that?
My progress on housekeeping and large in-home projects...ok, let's just not talk about that either. That is one area I have not exactly been focusing on. I mean, my house is not (nor has it ever been) GROSS, it is just not as clean as I would like, and my painting projects are just on hold for a "bit"
I am just overjoyed to get to spend extra time hanging out with my little homies. It is such a sweet life!
The past year has been one of huge personal challenges for me. Through all of this, I have kept this verse close to my heart. Making this my prayer, has helped me to find the JOY and HOPE I had all but lost.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13 NIV)
