Biker mom

Well, I've been exercising pretty consistently (ish) for about a month now, and have really enjoyed all the extra energy it has afforded me!

I love running, but have been advised that I need to limit my running time because of some weird pain I've been having in my hips and feet. I'm not giving up on running, but thought I needed to incorporate something else into my outdoors routine.

So, the bike is back!! I was big time into biking back before I had kids, but haven't been on a real ride since I got pregnant with Hunter. Long time!

Hello old friend...I just need to get a helmet and I'm off!

I love biking, but I have trouble finding the time (I guess I am pickier about the conditions I will ride in than run in). Have you ever tried a spinning class? I really love the ones at noon at the downtown Y.

I keep wanting to get back into the habit of working out and eating right regularly because I miss having that extra energy but it is so hard to get it going and keep with it before it is a habit!
